Christmas celebration ends with the announcement of winners of the competition Littera - A letter to Santa organised by MEd and Theodora- Christmas card making competition organised by Mathematics Association.

Littera winners were social science optional. Principal handed over the prize to them and read out the letter written by them. Their letter was really good with fun, ideas, and our life at college and our needs etc. That was really innovative one..

Theodora , first prize winners were natural science association.

The second prize winners were we, the physical science association. We received our prize from Gibi Ma'm with dance by expressing our happiness.

It was a great day indeed.We were so happy by  winning prizes...

Celebrate the Christmas with whole heart...

 IT IS THE TIME TO CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS...

It is the day full of joy, happiness, energy etc..

It is the Christmas celebration day for MTTC.

All were in red and white costumes taking selfies, preparing for the Christmas competitions and the Christmas events. Around 11am the celebration started and the Christmas message was given by Rev. Fr. Jolly Karimpal and then together joining with our principal Dr.K.Y Benedict and Fr. Thomas Kayyalakkal they cut the Christmas cake 🎂.

It was the beginning of the celebrations. The real celebration started with the carole song of first and second year student.

Then there was programmes by each optionals Mathematics, Natural Science, MEd, Physical Science.

Mathematics association presented a short skit on the speciality and importance of Christmas decorations including candles, cakes , trees etc. It was an innovative presentation. They described the whole Christmas through their skit.

Natural Science and MEd association presented Christmas vibes through their songs and dance . 

Later we, physical science association presents an energetic dance .

At the end of celebration, we teachers and students danced together. We cut the cake 🍰

and take selfies together..

That was end of our Christmas celebration and begining of our holidays....

Last Assembly Day of 2k21

 LAST  ASSEMBLY DAY OF 2021..

The day begins with the assembly conducted by Mathematics Association. Assembly Started with prayer and then college anthem.After that we had a pledge.And then news reading and campus news reading.And then there was a thought for the day.After that there was an importance of week.Then there was a quiz related to national mathematics day.Then Joju sir presented the logo of mathematics association.And then In absence of Benedict sir Joju sir gave a small message.And mathematics students gave books to our library. After that we had a national anthem and assembly dispersed.Then we went to class room.First two periods were optional. Neena Ma'm discussed about the time line of science.

The next was handled by Maya Ma'm. In that period,Miss explained more points about qualities and competencies of a teacher.

Teacher should be empathetic, non- partial towards students, etc.

The next two hours was taken by Ancy Ma'm. Ma'm taught us about various Principles of development.There are 7 principles of development.

* Principle of continuity 

* Principle of orderly development 

* Principle of development 

* Principle of individual difference 

* Principle of cumulative development 

* Principle of inter-relation 

* Principle of developmental direction.

Then we went for the practice of Christmas programmes..

 

The Christmas is arrived. The celebration has begun. Our college became beautifully prepared for the arrival of Christmas.

Talkative Tuesday...

 TUESDAY IS TALKATIVE..

The new day starts with small group discussion on the topic "Cyber crimes and ways to prevent them."

The topic have soo much importance in today's world which is more or less rotating around the internet. The cyber crimes are rising with the development of usage of internet. We discussed thoroughly about the topic,  noted  down to make a small report for the presentation in the next class. 

The next hour was taken by Maya Ma'm. We discussed about the qualities and competencies of a teacher.The main points included:

                        * Physical and mental health

                        * IQ, EQ and SQ

                          

                        * Integrity and punctuality

                        * Impartiality

The next hour was handled by Dr.Joju John.

Sir gave summary on over topic, cyber crimes and its prevention.

In after noon section we had completed the Christmas wishes card for the competition conducted by Mathematics department.

Then the hour was for optional. Neena Ma'm and we together selected our Christmas friend.

Then we discussed about the competition we have to conduct related to Christmas.

The next hour was handled by Joju sir. Sir explained about the e content creation. To get a clear picture about e content creation sir showed us some e content. From that we have understood the qualities of an e content. Bharat, a student from English optional also gave more information about the qualities of e content. The section was really interesting one..

Monday.. is a new day..

 IT'S MONDAY AGAIN..

After the weekend holidays, we returned to college. The first two hours was handled by Neena Ma'm. Ma'm firstly congratulated us for our togetherness and efforts during NAAC Visit. Even though we are newcomers, our unity and hard work was appreciated by Neena Ma'm. Later new student, Anju introduced herself. Later we moved on with the syllabus. Ma'm gave us an idea about assignment, seminar etc. Then we discussed about the definition of science. 

"Science is what the scientists are doing. Science is based on truth. It is an embirical knowledge. "

Next session was handled by Joju sir. Sir divided the topic for assignment to us.  Sir then take the topic, 

Technology in education and Technology of education.

Technology of education refers to the principles and techniques teacher uses in making learning effective like giving reinforcement, making class child centered.

Technology in education is the use of LCD projectors, presentation etc for teaching.

After the class, there was a survey on life skills assessment for the research purpose of a research student. We have filled the survey forms

          Then we  go to library to refer and take books. Library was spacious and have different books too. It was really nice one.

Getting back into the groove...

 AFTER THE NAAC VISIT

It was the day we returned to college after NAAC visit.

The class was first dealt by Maya Ma'm. Ma'm gave a task for us to write our strengths and areas to be improved as a teacher. That was a self analysis for us. Ma'm also tell us to do a criticization on her too.

The afternoon section was handled by Joju sir. Sir appreciated our efforts during NAAC visit. Sir concluded and briefed about our small group discussion topic - Pros and Cons of technology.

Robotics is a new world...

 WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF ROBOTICS

It was the final day of NAAC visit. The day begins with the assembly conducted by the college union 2020-2022.

Then there was a new introduction to the world of robotics. It was a fresh and exciting experience for us.

Robotics involves design, construction, operation, and use of robots. The goal of robotics is to design machines that can help and assist humans. ... Robots can take on any form, but some are made to resemble humans in appearance.

There was a basic information about robots , types of robots , use and scope of robots etc..

"Isaac Asimov three laws of robotics"

1.  A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.

2.  A robot must obey orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.

3.  A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

Types of robots~

* Pre-programmed robots

*Humanoid robots

*Teleoperated robots

*Augmenting robots(helps the humans to enhance their capability)

*Autonomous robots

They also gave an introduction on Arduino which is an open source platform used for building electronics objects. 

 Then we got a chance to do coding and do some basics. It was really a nice experience for us.

It was the end of preparations and begining of NAAC visit. 

The day begins with the class of yoga. Sir explained the benefits of yoga and did some postures of yoga too.

The next hour was dealt by Maya Ma'm. We together listed out the qualities and competency of a teacher from A to Z.

 A DAY OF POSITIVITY,LOVE AND INNOCENCE

The day begins with the class of our energetic Joju sir. Sir divided us into small groups and a small group discussion took place on the topic pros and cons of technology. There we got to see different thoughts and perspectives. Sir gave us an introduction about the visit to Santhi Mandhiram.

Then we started our journey to Sandhi Mandhiram, Vattapara. We started our journey by singing songs and enjoying it. After a walk , we reached there. It was a beautiful place where many smiling faces were waiting for us. There we got to see so many emotions like happiness, sadness, innocence, curiosity etc. We together made them sing , dance with action song, Folk songs, group song , group dance etc. Joju sir and Gibi Ma'm together spread positivity there. The Manager of Santhi Mandhiram explained the history of the Santhi Mandhiram. The Manager and staffs are the example of  humanity still in our earth. They are humans with golden heart 💛. The journey really touched our heart deeply. The innocence in their face and the devotion of the people who run Santhi Mandhiram was really touching . It made us realise that we should not only live for us but for others too. Then only our life should have a meaning.

It was a great experience indeed.

Afternoon noon section was much awaiting talent hunt of us, Physical Science and Natural Science. We were much nervous and tensed. Natural science rocked the stage with their performance. Next was our performance. 

We together completed our performance whole heartedly.

The day was an unforgettable one...

 ASSEMBLY DAY

The day began with assembly. Today's assembly led by English optional. They made the arrangements very nice. Their association name Aliferos was revealed by the principal. Principal sir gave a good message. In the meantime the people associated with the NAAC made a mock visit.

After the dispersal of assembly the first hour was handled by Neena Ma'm .Ma'm introduced us the syllabus, curriculum of the optional subject papers and we together made a few arrangements for the NAAC Visit.

The next hour was taken by Ancy Ma'm.

Ma'm made a lecture on Growth and Development, The difference  between Growth and Development.

For the mock NAAC visit, professors visited our class during this time.

AN ENERGETIC DAY

7/12/2021

The day started Gibi teacher's class. Teacher summarised the things which we discussed in previous class and gave us the scope of educational psychology. Teacher also separated the students into different groups on the basis of different facts, like those wearing spectacles, those who knows more than 3 language, those who can swim and so on. It was an experiment to make us understand that individual differences can be found In every classes. So as a teacher we should understand each student of the class and make the learning process suitable for everyone. 

The next session was work shop on flower set skills by Elizabeth mary Joseph Ma'am. Ma'am taught us many things. The different themes behind flower arrangement, the materials needed, single flower arrangements, Shallow flower arrangement,the rules to follow and so on.It was a very useful class because it is a useful thing in our daily life too that we can even make our home beautiful with simple things in nature. The way of arranging flowers,stems and leaves woke up the passion and imagination in us. It was all about the creativity inside us.

Afternoon noon section was aerobics. It was fun filled and entertaining. 

It makes us to step out from our comfort zones. It was a great experience indeed.

 TALENT HUNT CONTINUES...

The day starts with the class of Maya Ma'm. Ma'm enquired us about the feelings about performing on the stage. Later we discussed about the functions of education. The functions of education are individual development, cultural development, social development, knowledge, health, vocational, ideal citizenship, character, international understanding, and national integration.

Later the class was handled by Shafi Thomson sir. Sir talked us about preparation for both university and competitive exams.

The main techniques are perspective, syllabus analysis, time table, previous question paper analysis, focus on learning, avoid mistakes, combine study, self evaluation, stay positive and confident.

Sir remained us that we should always have the courage to deliver our opinions.

Afternoon section was  the most awaited Talent Hunt programmes of Malayalam association and Social Sciences. Both created a magic on the stage. It was a visual treat of different talents, themes, dances and music.

The day begins with the class of Archana Ma'm. Mam taught us about Psychology. "Psychology is the science or study of behavior". Ma'm explained about branches of psychology, the schools of psychology. The schools of psychology are Structuralism, Functionalism, Behaviorism, Psychoanalysis, Gestalt School, Humanistic School, and Existential School.

Then there was a holy mass prayer. Afternoon section was the most awaited Talent Hunt programmes of English association ' Operation BEd' , and the Mathematics association' Ankura' .

It was really entertaining and awesome one..

Later we got an opportunity to observe through the telescope 🔭. It was really exciting one.

The day was really awesome...

 COMMUNICATION - NOT A PROBLEM ANY MORE

The beautiful day begins with yoga classes.Our yoga master taught us some basic postures and some sanskrit prayers. It was a kind of refreshing.

After that we had an English bridge course which was taken by Dr. Asha A.K. She stole the day with her class. It was very innovating. Can't express in words .We laughed, played, sang, thought about various things, expressed and we learnt. The time flew so fastly. We get to know about barriers and problems in our communication. She made us understand these things by interesting games. She gave the ideas to overcome that problems. The section ended by enacting a human evolution poster by her guidance. It was just an awesome experience.

Afternoon section was handled by Dr Joju John. Sir made the boys to introduce themselves in a different manner. The class ended with some positive thoughts by Joju Sir.

Later Joju sir and Maya Teacher introduced and explained about the computer labs to us.

Neena Ma'm introduced us to science lab too.

The day ended with preparation for talent hunt.

 ASSEMBLY DAY

It's December 1st World's AIDS Day. We celebrate the day to aware and get the knowledge and to support  those living with HIV.

The day began with the assembly. Malayalam optional students led the assembly. Assembly starts with college anthem and prayer. Their association name PRAGATI  was revealed by the principal.The malayalam optional students presents seven books to library collection.Then the new members of our MTTC family introduced themselves. The principal gave us a message.

The first period was taken by our optional subject, Neena Ma'm. The newcomers introduced and exhibited their talent in the class. Then there was selection of representatives for physical science association. 

And then Maya teacher took over the class and she filled the class with music. She made us understand about the difference between music and noise. After that we discussed about certain views about education by eminent personalities.

The next hour was handled by Dr.Gibi Geevarughese. We discussed about nature of psychology. The class became interesting by signing the song 'kakke kakke koodevide 'together.
