It was our beginning session of demonstrations. Neena ma'am gave a brief introduction of the session and about its phases. Today our Senior Students Nikhil and Gayathri took the demo classes. Students from St John's school were the participants. Session begins with the silent prayer at 10 am.

It was the time for revision of the whole semester....

The media club THEO PRESS 2K22 of Mar Theophilus Training College Trivandrum, Nalanchira conducted an expert talk on മാധ്യമ ലോകവും ഞാനും in association with the 66th college union ADVITHIYA and IQAC at college auditorium. The expert talk was delivered by C J Vahid Chengappally, senior news editor of Dooradharshan Kerala.  As part of the programme a short film  "Anna" was shown.

Today was the exam time for surya namaskar of yoga from 11.50 to 12.30.

Sun Salutation, also called Surya Namaskar or Salute to the Sun, is a practice in yoga as exercise incorporating a flow sequence of some twelve gracefully linked asanas.

 The seminar presentations for the semester 2 was conducted on different topics.

Art, Drama and Music

 Art , Drama and Music

Today we have Art & Aesthetic Sessions and Music sessions.

Music Session started with the short introduction speech of our principal Benedict sir. Session was handled by Lekshmi ma'am. She divided us into six groups, I was in group one. She trained us the basics of the eternal Music. We enjoyed a lot and get refreshed. 

  

We get to know the soothing effect of music.

After that we have Art and Aesthetic Sessions by Reju sir. Sir engaged us in different games like Car and Driver, Communication and Concentration games.

   

The day was filled with music, enjoyment and positivity...

Group Discussion for Edu 06

 Discussion time..

Today as part of the second semester B.Ed curriculum, we had a group discussion on the paper Edu.06 Education in the Indian System under the supervision of Dr.Maya.S. In the respective session Ma'am divided the total strength into 6 groups and gave the material for group discussion. The material mainly focused on the topic of various education commission in India. That discussion were so productive that boosted our knowledge.

Today was the seminar day for Edu 09. My topic was 'Science Laboratory'.

I have prepared a short presentation on the topic ' Science laboratory'.

A school science laboratory is a place where basic experimental skills are learnt by systematically performing a set of prescribed and suitably designed experiments. Performing experiments by one's own hands is not only a thrilling experience but is also important because it entails learning by doing.

Beginning of the new batch 2K22-2K24

 NEW BATCH BEGINS..

Today, our new batch 2022 - 2023 was officially began with the blessings of god. Unlike our batch ,this batch have 50 students. We welcomed them  a pooja dance and songs. By lighting the candle new friends they started their journey at MTTC.

Team Ruby vs Team Emarald vs Team Sapphire

The sports meet for the year 2022 was conducted on 13 th and 14 th September 2022 in the Mar Ivanios ground, Nalanchira.

I participated in shot put and 100 m relay.

In the second day, there was final of items, and javelin throw. I was in the judging pannel of Javelin throw .The validation ceremony begins with  and Parade of three houses, and flag rising ceremony. Benedict sir inaugurated the events and other teachers and staffs were present .It ended with the prize distribution to the winners..

Sports meet was a great opportunity for participation and organisation.

Even though I cannot win any prize, it was a nice experience..

 

Each experience is a treasure for the journey of life.....

Sports meet also teaches us new lessson...

After Onam holidays...

 After the 10 days of onam onam holidays, we returned back to college. Even though I am little sad to end the holidays soon, I was happy to meet my friends back..

It was also the preparatory day for the sports meet...

Onam Celebration....

   Welcome to Onam Celebrations...

It was the auspicious day to begin the celebrations of onam after the two years of covid and other disasters..

So it was really the time to celebrate..

The onam Celebrations begins with the ' Athapookalam' formed by the students. 

Then followed by that we all together conducted 'Mega Thiruvathira'.

Cultural programme began with a bang after that..

Onam sadhya and Fun games added colour to the celebrations...

It was a great onam after a long time....
