EDUCATION AND WOMEN FREEDOM
Advitheya, college union conducted a talk on “Education and women freedom” delivered by Dr. Seema Jarom. The topic was very relevant in the modern society. The talk was interesting and informative. Following, a discussion on the topic was also conducted.
During the discussion, many of the audience shared their concerns, opinions and experiences regarding the topic...
Overall the session was so informative and thought provoking...
It was the day for the official inaugration of 66th College Union and Arts Club Inauguration.
ADVITHEYA-Unique ,Unconquered
Inauguration program was started by Flash Mob of students of MTTC, followed by logo revealing ceremony accompanied by the cheering of college.
Our Collège union was inaugurated by Abhilash Mohanan, Deputy Editor ,Mathrubhumi News . His speech was really inspiring and informative.
Arts club was inaugurated by famous cine Artist Aswanth Lal, a humble person with lot of messages.
Afternoon sessions were programmes by the students. Stage was filled with varieties of performances including Group Dances, Group Songs , Skits, Fusion Songs ,Mimicry, Duet etc, All were mind blowing and energetic.
We Physical Science Association , Cosmos also performed a short dance as part of it...
The day was full of energy , happiness and positive vibes...
Today was our last day of MCQ exam on optional subject. After that Natural science optional conducted an eye test camp named as IRIS for providing a free eye checkup to all students , teachers and non teaching staffs. Camp conducted with the help of Dr. Agarwal' s hospital members. Camp inaugurated by our Principal Dr. K. Y. Benedict sir. Students from all optionals participated in this camp. Camp reached to its end around 2 00 pm. It was a well organised and useful programme for the students, teachers and staffs..
A day to be remembered
It was the day to be remembered as it was our first field trip together. Our journey begins at 7.00 am from college by a mini bus with lots of music and dance steps. Even though we are not good dancers, we danced from our heart.
Our first destination was Unilever . We observed and understood the workings and procedures of there.
Then we move to the next destination after enjoying our lunch that was Adventure park ,Kollam..
After spending few moments there, we move to the next destination Sambranikodi ,a beautiful place to be remembered always .
We enjoyed our evening there, After seeing the sun set , we returned with a bang..
It was a beautiful and precious day which will always remain in my heart....
SEMINAR DAY FOR ME....
Today was a magnificent day. First hour we had yoga class . After that we had optional class. Four of us took seminar. My topic was scientific contribution of Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam.
In the afternoon session there were an oath taking ceremony of newly elected union members. Joju sir is the advisor of the new union. The function started with college anthem. After that each of the members took the oaths. They are the new warriors of our college. After that Maya teacher gave a small speech. The function ended with national anthem. After that we go to the library. At 3.30 pm we returned back to our home.
Today first hour was dealt by Maya teacher. Teacher explained beautifully about the importance of women. Then teacher invited some of the students to explained about their views about women. After that we had seminar sessions.
After that we had optional class. Then we had yoga class. After that we discussed about flash mob. All of a sudden we took a descision to perform a flash mob. I am very happy because we got only one hour for practice but we did our practice with full dedication so we done the performance with full heart.
Afternoon session women cell conducted a programme as a part of women' s day. The programme started with a lovely prayer song. Then president of our women 's cell Stijo addressed the welcome speech. Two videos were played which gave a clear cut idea about the importance of woman. I felt goosebumps by seeing that videos. After that keerthi and kavya sang a marvelous song. Aami sung a song that took us to another world. Veena chechi did a good dance performance. Her expressions was splendid which dragged our attention. There was a quiz session co- ordinated by Aneeta and Riya. It was a nice session. Many students gave brilliant answers with in a moment and the prizes was distributed by Bindhu teacher, Shiny teacher, Neena teacher, shafi sir and Rakesh sir. It was a well organized programme and all the programmes was presented in a systematic way.

Taking responsibility for my own thoughts and actions, and actively challenging stereotypes or bias whenever I see them…
INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR....
Day 1
For the whole MTTC family, today was a big day. It was a beginning of an International Conference on " INCREMENTAL CHANGES IN INSTRUCTURAL STRATEGIES AND RESEARCH IN HIGHER EDUCATION". The conference was officially started at 9.00 am by the prayer of MTTC College students. Welcome address given by Dr. V. Reghu Sir, and our first session ended at 10. 30 am.
Special talk on subject theme was given by Dr. Rajan Varghese in second session started at 10. 30 am. Paper presentation session begins at 2. 30 pm .
Day-2
Today was our second day of International Conference. Paper presentation competition session started at 9 30 am and ends in 1. 30 pm. I have attended the presentation session of BEd. That was really nice presentation sessions.
General session started in afternoon around 2.30 pm. All papers had good quality and their presentation skill was excellent. Our theme is about the blended learning , all topics selected by participants has its own relevance. Session ends at 5.30pm. Today' s resource persons are Shalini maam, Harish Kumar sir and Lissy Koshy maam. Vote of thanks given by Shiny Maam.
Day-3
Third and last day of our international seminar. The session was controlled by our Joju sir. Many eminent personalities gave presentation about different topics. All sessions are very informative. The seminar ended at 1.00 pm. The results of the competition sessions also announced during the session. The co-ordination, hardwork and dedication of whole MTTC family resulted in the successful completion of the international seminar.
PREPARATION FOR INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

Today we wore sarees for the assembly. Today’s assembly was conducted by B.Ed. Social Science students. Assembly started with our college anthem followed by prayer and pledge. Following this, thought of the day was presented. A news reading session was there which included social news and campus news. Importance of the week and of the day was delivered. Disclosure of their association name “Eh Archein” was done. Later on, books were presented to the library. Benedict sir gave a wonderful message. The assembly dispersed with national anthem. After lunch, we had Joju sir’s class. Seminar was taken by English optional. After that, Maya ma'am an introduction about the international seminar and Benedict sir gave a brief description. The theme song of the international seminar was played. The students in each group were also enlisted. The session ended with college anthem and national anthem.
Today start with Maya teacher's philosophy class. Today's topic is culture. Teacher explained all the features and aspects of culture. She gave lot of examples.
Behavior, Attitudes, Traditions, Practices, Rituals, Art, Literature, Utensils, Dress pattern, Ornaments, Religion, Values, Customs, Language food, human relationship, Architecture etc are some components of culture.
Then the next hour was optional . Neena Ma'am discussed about teaching learning process.
Finally Gibi teacher's class. Last section is library. Today is a wonderful day
SCIENCE DAY.....
Each year, February 28 is celebrated as National Science Day to commemorate the discovery of the ‘Raman Effect’ by Indian physicist CV Raman. This year, the theme of the celebrations is ‘Integrated Approach in Science and Technology for Sustainable Future’.The day celebrates historic Indian physicist, CV Raman and promotes the youth of India to follow in his footsteps.
As part of science day, we Physical Science Association, Cosmos conducted an intercollegiate cartoon making competition and role play competition.
Purpose of the Celebration:
The basic objective of observation of National Science Day is to spread the message of importance of science and its application among the people. National science day is celebrated as one of the main science festivals in India every year with following purpose-
To widely spread a message about the significance of scientific applications in the daily life of the people,
To display all the activities, efforts and achievements in the field of science for welfare of human being,
To discuss all the issues and implement new technologies for the development of the science,
To give an opportunity to the scientific minded citizens in the country,
To encourage the people as well as popularize the Science and Technology.

An unforgettable Art and Aesthetic visit
Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time. Art is not what you see, but what you make others see.
It was our first Field trip with MTTC Family to Guru Gopinath Natanagramam.
We started our journey in two buses, at 9.45 am with Principal's valuable message and a beautiful prayer.We went by bus, and Ancy maam, Maya maam, Joju sir was along with us. The bus journey interesting . We made it immemorable by singing songs, enjoying snacks and chit chat with friends. Journey with friends is always enjoying and interesting.
The Guru Gopinath Natanagramam (the Guru Gopinath Dance Village) is an institute for art established in 1995 to keep alive the memory of Guru Gopinath. Founded in the name of the great artist, Guru Gopinath, the objective is to bring music, dance and instrumental music under one roof and provide the best training.
We reached there 10.40am and, we are welcomed by welcome drinks, and the outer view was awesome.
We all entered the museum with great enthusiasm and excitement. Then we visited each cabin with the guidance of the staff there..
We explored the museum with big eyes. We realized the real story of Kerala art forms- Kathakali, Theyam, Mohiniyattam, Kerala Nadanam a lot of unfamiliarized art forms also. We travelled through their history, dessing style, traditions etc. Not only the arts in Kerala, but also of all over the world gave us a mesmerizing journey .

Known for : Kerala Natanam (Kerala Dance)
Guru Gopinath is an epic personality of Indian dancing in the twentieth century. He was a great dancer and master of Indian classical dance. It was his early efforts that made the Kerala dance "Kathakali' widely popular and highly acclaimed at home and abroad.
We also watched a short video related to theyyam. Theyyam is a popular ritual form of dance worship in Kerala and Karnataka and India. Theyyam consisted of thousand-year-old traditions, rituals and customs. The people of these districts consider Theyyam itself as a channel to a godand they thus seek blessings from Theyyam.
Later we had an presentation session by Dr. Sajeev Nair, is a Doctoral degree holder (PhD) in Engineering Science,, Graduate Electrical Engineer, Chartered Engineer, Life time Member and Fellow of Institution of Engineers, Life Member of National Safety Council and ISTD, Lead IMS auditor, with additional International Qualifications in Learning and Competency. Currently he is the Senior Vice President – Learning and Development, and Head, Manufacturing at Reliance Industries Limited .He has acted in over 500 plays while directed and produced many as well. He led us to the world of Kerala Natanam,"The roots of kerala nadanam are tracked from Kathakali and various dance forms in India ",Abhinaya, Mudras, Nava rasas. His facial expressions, body and hand movements, eye movement was great lessons for us. an interesting session filled with curiosity.
Later we had our lunch by sitting on the floor, chatting with friends.
Today's trip was unforgettable and it was a nice experience...✨
